The Principal Match Official Agreement (PMOA) outlines the expectations, authority, and responsibilities of all match officials appointed for IGCLT10, ensuring fairness, professionalism, and integrity throughout the tournament.
🎯 Role & Responsibilities
Principal Match Officials (Umpires, Referees, Scorers) are responsible for:
Enforcing match rules as per IGCLT10 playing conditions.
Maintaining discipline on the field.
Ensuring matches are conducted in a safe and fair manner.
Accurate scoring & reporting of match statistics.
📜 Authority
The PMOA has final authority on field decisions.
Has the power to penalize misconduct, including player behavior or team violations.
Can pause, suspend, or abandon a match due to safety, weather, or disciplinary reasons.
🧠 Match Awareness & Preparation
Officials must be fully familiar with:
IGCLT10 match format and schedule.
Specific tournament rules, including powerplays, over limits, and substitution rules.
Must arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the match for inspection and briefing.
⚖️ Neutrality & Conduct
Officials must remain neutral, fair, and unbiased at all times.
Any conflict of interest (team affiliation, family involvement, etc.) must be disclosed before appointment.
Personal mobile phones must be kept away during matches unless required for scoring apps.
🛡️ Safety & Discipline
Officials are responsible for enforcing:
Player safety rules (no dangerous bowling, excessive sledging, etc.)
Anti-doping and fair play measures
Crowd management support if needed
🗃️ Match Reporting
Must submit a post-match report including:
Final score summary
Player of the match
Any code of conduct violations
Any unusual incidents (injuries, protests, delays)
❌ Breach of Agreement
Any official found:
Misconducting or biased
Absent without valid reason
Misreporting match data
Will face penalties including removal from the panel and bans from future IGCL events.

All appointed officials must sign this agreement before officiating.
By doing so, they agree to uphold the values, standards, and spirit of IGCLT10.
