Registration

All interested players must register online through our official website by filling out the registration form and paying the required registration fee. Players need to provide accurate details in order to qualify for the trials.

Trial Invitations

Once registered, players will receive trial invitations based on their location and age category. The trials will be conducted in multiple cities across India, ensuring accessibility for players from different regions.

On-Ground Trials

During the trials, players will be assessed by professional coaches and selectors. The key evaluation criteria include:

  • Batting Skills – Shot selection, technique, power, and consistency

  • Bowling Skills – Line, length, variation, and pace/spin control

  • Fielding Skills – Agility, catching, throwing, and overall fitness

  • Game Awareness – Decision-making, adaptability, and temperament under pressure

Shortlisting

Based on performance in the trials, the best players will be shortlisted for the next phase. Selected players will be notified via email and phone and will be invited to participate in the IGCL auction.

Player Auction

Shortlisted players will enter an auction process where team owners will bid for them. The highest bidders will secure the players for their teams, ensuring fair competition and exciting league matches.

League Matches & Final Selection

Players who are successfully acquired in the auction will compete in league matches, where they will get an opportunity to showcase their skills in a competitive environment. Performance in these matches will determine selection for further opportunities, including advanced training camps, exposure matches, and scouting by professional teams.

Recognition & Opportunities

Players who perform exceptionally well in the league will be given:

  • Trophies and certificates for outstanding performance

  • Selection for advanced training camps

IGCL Playing Formats

Box Cricket

Box Cricket is a modified, fast-paced version of cricket played in a confined space, usually indoors or within a netted area. It is popular for corporate tournaments, local leagues, and recreational play.

Open Cricket

Open Cricket is the traditional form of cricket played in large outdoor fields, like the professional formats (T20, ODI, Test matches).
